Helping dogs in need

Animal welfare and supporting charities and organisations that help dogs in need are very important to me. I’m very proud to support two amazing organisations on an ongoing basis:

Dorset Dogs

Dorset Dogs, the Community arm of Dog Friendly Dorset, exists to help local dogs in Dorset. It aims to help rehabilitate dogs who are struggling to integrate into the community, such as rescue dogs, nervous dogs, reactive dogs and dogs who are unwell. 10% of all play date proceeds also go to breed specific charities. We also run initiatives to keep Dorset beaches and parks dog friendly with poop clean ups and nature walks to educate on dogs and wildlife.

I am the volunteer group photographer and organiser of the Sausage Play Dates and love being involved with this wonderful community.

The Red Foundation -EMERGENCY DACHSHUND Rescue uK

The primary mission of The Red Foundation is to protect the health and well-being of every dog in their care. They are also advocates of the breed and take their role as social educators very seriously. After an adoption has taken place, they don’t simply walk away from them. They provide lifetime support to all adopters, and stay in contact with them for the life of the dog.

I am proud to be involved in regular fundraising events and initiatives for this wonderful charity, including producing a Dachshunds of Dorset calendar and organising Sausage Dog Christmas Parties.
